Lean & Six Sigma World Organization Structure LSS World: Globalizing Lean & Six Sigma KnowledgeI) Governing Body: LEAN & SIX SIGMA WORLD ORGANIZATIONSM will be governed by an Executive Board, Advisory Board, and a Technical Committee.
II) Participation: Executive Board members must participate in at least 50% of activities/meeting and not miss three meetings in a row. Advisory Board members should participate in at least 50% of electronic surveys/voting to stay in “active” status. III) Meetings and Events Governing Body will meet at least once a year in conjunction with the Lean & Six Sigma World ConferenceSM and via teleconference at least quarterly. IV) Language English will be used as the common international language and communication for this organization. To the extent any translated versions of these bylaws and other communication conflicts with the English version, the English version controls. V) Non-Discrimination and Ethics LEAN & SIX SIGMA WORLD ORGANIZATIONSM does not discriminate on the basis of race/ethnicity, color, national origin, sex, disability, veteran status, political beliefs, religion, sexual orientation, or age in the administration of any of its Staff, Executives, Volunteers, and Members.
VI) Liability Governing Body, with the exception of the American Quality Institute Representative(s), is not liable for financial decisions. Likewise, American Quality Institute and/or the Governing Body are not liable for decisions, actions, and words of its members, Advisory Board, or Committees. Although we provide Bylaws and rules for user conduct, American Quality Institute and Lean Six Sigma World Organization do not control or direct users’, committee’s, board, members, or user actions and are not responsible for the content or information transmitted or communicated; nor responsible for any offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful or otherwise objectionable content or information users may encounter in website or other communication vehicles.
